Vacation!

 Hello all,

We just got back from vacation on Thursday!  We went down to Efes (Ephesus) and it was pretty amazing!  We stayed in a little town about five minutes from the ruins, so we were able to get out there early out of the heat of the day.  It was awesome to think that we were walking along the streets where Paul spent three years of his life... whoa.  It is also believed that John brought Mary to Ephesus to live after Jesus died.  There is a reconstructed first-century home set apart from the main part of the town where Mary supposedly lived.  It has been converted into a chapel and was impacting to visit, too.

The Aegean Sea was about ten minutes from our little hostel, so we spent some time relaxing there, too.  Jeremy loved the waves and the sand!  Another major plus for this pregnant lady was the air-conditioned room; I think I just about froze Joe out!  All in all, good times and good memories.
